COURTYARD WORKPLACE

EllEll worked alongside Pentadel Project Management to deliver a new workspace for a pharmaceutical company in Perivale, West London.

The project reuses an existing and derelict warehouse and inserts a new steel structure arranged around a central courtyard. The double height space allows the full team to assemble while the visual connection across floors promotes a celebratory and collaborative working environment. The courtyard also provides an opportunity for daylight from the existing roof lights to penetrate deep into the plan.

Initially proposed for three years, the steel structure is bolted and designed to be demountable but it is also flexible and can be extended in the future.
