ABOUT
Previously known as Elli Farrant Architects, EllEll Architects were established in 2018 and began by working at contrasting scales: our first projects were simultaneously a 15sqm residential extension in Alexandra Palace, and a demountable 1000sqm workplace inserted into an existing warehouse in Perivale, West London. Today EllEll continues to work alongside families, communities and companies to deliver architecture that varies in scale and use across the UK.
The work of EllEll Architects is collaborative and we enjoy working closely with our clients and design team to explore how each project might be used and how to reflect the values of the people and wider communities who use them. Our projects emerge through a working method that uses contextual research, large scale models and material research as tools for conversation.

Elli graduated from the University of Nottingham and Kingston University. She worked at Mae Architects on a series of social and affordable housing projects in Greater London before joining Feilden Fowles Architects. Whilst at Feilden Fowles she was project architect for the RIBA Southwest Building of the Year 2018, Charlie Bigham’s Food Production Kitchen. Elli has recently returned to Kingston University and taught an undergraduate design studio for several years, exploring the process of how we approach and design our built and unbuilt environment.

Ella Wright is qualified architect who joined EllEll Architects in 2020 after working at Coffey Architects for 6 years. At Coffey Architects she was project architect on the NLA Don’t Move Improve and RIBA award-winning project Apartment Block and worked as part of the team to deliver the RIBA award-winning project Hidden House.
